$100.00 – $450.00
Limited Edition Fine Art Photography Print
Description
As Bob Ross would say, I like old weathered things, and the Mexican Canyon Trestle is definitely one of those. Originally erected for the Alamogordo & Sacramento Mountains Railroad (1899-1947), the trestle is located just below the town of lovely mountain town of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Constructed entirely of steel, cast iron, and local timbers, what remains intact of the three-tiered structure, arcing high above the canyon floor is still impressive to consider from an engineering standpoint. The tracks These days it’s more like an elaborate, weathered sculpture, striking a contrast against the lush green and towering forest surrounding it.
